Instead of buying a physical canvas or a framed poster you buy a digital file... a digital "printable." You receive JPEG or PDF files... just like the photos on your computer or phone, but with high resolution and quality.

- A 2:3 ratio file for printing 4”x6”, 8”x12”, 12”x18”, 16”x24”, 20”x30”, 24”x36”
- A 3:4 ratio file for printing 6”x8”, 9”x12”, 12”x16”, 15”x20”, 18”x24”, 27"x36"
- A 4:5 ratio file for printing 4”x5”, 8”x10”, 12”x15”, 16”x20”, 24"x30"
- A file for printing 5”x7”
- A file for printing 11”x14” or 22"x28"

You can print at your home, at a local print shop you trust, or online.
Many stores offer the option to print large format at a high quality:
- For online professional printing, I recommend Prints of Love. They offer high-quality prints and great customer service.
- Other online options: VistaPrint, Staples, Costco, and Shutterfly
- Local Print Shops: Staples, Fedex, Office Depot, Costco, Walmart, Walgreens, etc. Save your image on a USB and take it to the store where they can upload your file and print for you.
Why should I choose printable art?
It’s less expensive
Printables cost only a few $, compared to $$$ for a physical product. Even if you don’t print it at home and put it into a standard, low cost frame and need to have it printed professionally, you will still pay less than the same item purchased as an already physical product.

It's a more ecological choice
Physical items require keeping an inventory. That means overhead (raising the price), but it also potentially means waste. It is possible to stock more than is purchased. With a digital file, it doesn't become a physical entity until it is purchased and printed.
There is less waiting*
When you print it yourself or locally you don’t have to wait weeks for it to be shipped. You are in control and can have the art up in a matter of minutes for printing it at home or a day for local printing.

The world wide web opened up the market for artists from all over the world! Digital products are available for immediate download worldwide.
You decide the size of the art
When you buy a digital file, it comes with a variety of standard sizes to fit a variety of needs. You can find the right size of art for your space.
You can print it more than once
The file is yours and you can print it as many times as you want. That comes in handy when you want it on more than one medium such as a poster and a greeting card... or 6 mugs for your family... or when your toddler throws spaghetti across the room and your wall art is the casualty.
The only thing that’s not allowed is re-selling it. Sometimes separate commercial licenses can be bought from the artist... if you are wanting to resell, just ask them.
You can use it seasonally
